These queries can be used to **obtain additional information**, e.g. queries about food (Fig. 1) or **specific booking options**, e.g. the workshop selection in the offer package Workshops (Fig. 2). Since questions and answers are placed in offer packages and the display of offer packages can be controlled per price group, **questions and answers** also offer **an opportunity to** configure **price group-specific additional queries and content** in the registration process. {% hint style="info" %} These features of *Questions & Answers* should be taken into account during the set-up process: * **Answers are displayed on the booking confirmation, but related questions are not.** This means that answers should be formulated in such a way that they can be placed in context. * Questions and answers have **no influence on the price** of the offer. * [Contingents ](/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/create-the-offer-overview/set-contingents/set-contingents-for-offers.md)are controlled via answers. * **The same question + answer(s) can be linked in several offers, as can the same answer in several questions**. This makes it easier to [count contingents across offers](/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/create-the-offer-overview/set-contingents/deposit-total-contingents-across-all-offers.md). However, it also means that a question/answer is changed everywhere if it is edited in one place. {% endhint %}

## Creating a question in the offer wizard

1. **Add question** - Create a new question that does not yet exist. 2. **Add existing question** - Changes to existing questions affect all places where the question is also linked. 3. **Add free text question** - Add a question with a free text field as an answer. 4. **Advanced options** - Switch to the *advanced package configuration* of the offer at [the point where questions and answers are linked](/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/create-the-offer-overview/create-offers-and-their-structure-in-the-offer-wizard/extended-configuration-options-for-offers.md). 5. **Title and description** - Enter a title and description for the question. Links and images can be added in the description editor, [similar to articles](/en/general/your-own-converia-website/article/add-and-edit-articles.md). 6. **Number of selectable answers** - Define the selection options and display for the answers, see next section. ## Selection and presentation of answers to a question ### **Maximum *****n***** answers** * Answers are displayed as a **checkbox** (Fig. 4) * **No** mandatory question, but **limitation** to maximum number of answer selection options

### **Minimum n answers** * Answers are displayed as a **checkbox** (Fig. 5) * **Mandatory question with minimum number** of answers to be selected, no maximum number possible * In order to book the offer package, at least n answer(s) must be selected

### **Exact n answers** * Answers are displayed as **radio buttons** (Fig. 6) * **Mandatory question with exact specification** of the answers to be selected * In order to book the offer package, exactly n answer(s) must be selected

### **Display as select box** If *Display as select box* is activated, the answers are displayed * displayed in a **multi-select box** (Fig. 7) if **more than one answer** is possible (hold down the Ctrl key and select several answers with the left mouse button). * Display in a single select box (Fig. 7) if **only one answer is possible**.

## **Free text questions** There are **no predefined answer options** for free text questions, only a text field (Fig. 8). * You can specify whether it should be a **single-line** ( *field type: Text)* or **multi-line** ( *field type: Textarea)* text field. **No maximum number of characters or words** can be specified for either variant. * You can specify whether it should be a **mandatory field** or an **optional field** *(Mandatory field checkbox)*. * The content of the free text field **cannot be restricted to certain characters**. * The free text answers are **not** listed under *Administration* -> *Organization & Planning*. All answers are listed in the booking export or in the respective booking confirmation of the person taking part.

## Creating answers in the offer wizard New answers can be created for each question or existing answers can be linked. * The **order of the answers** can be subsequently changed using drag & drop. * A [contingent](/en/attendees/setting-up-the-registration/create-the-offer-overview/set-contingents/set-contingents-for-booking-options-answers-within-offers.md) can be stored in the answer. “0” means *no contingent stored*. * A description of the answer can be entered. Links and images can also be added in the editor for the description, [similar to articles](/en/general/your-own-converia-website/article/add-and-edit-articles.md).

{% hint style="warning" %} **Subsequent renaming of the response in the offer wizard** is **not** transferred to the answers in the administration area under *Administration -> Organization & planning -> Answers*.
